In this powerful episode, my guest Giovanni shares a deeply personal and life-altering experience from when he was just 18 or 19 years old. At the time, he was drinking heavily—sun-up to sun-down—and one night, after overdoing it at a friend’s house, everything came crashing down.

The next morning, sick and barely holding on, he made it home and collapsed onto his bed. That’s when things took a surreal turn. Giovanni describes floating out of his body, moving toward the ceiling fan light, and ultimately seeing his own lifeless body lying below him. What he experienced in those moments was terrifying—but also sacred.

This wasn’t just a brush with death. It was a wake-up call. One that pulled him out of a destructive spiral and set him on a powerful spiritual journey that continues to this day.
